The triliteral root qāf nūn tā (ق ن ت) occurs 13 times in the Quran, in three derived forms:
- twice as the form I verb yaqnut (يَقْنُتْ)
- eight times as the active participle qānit (قَانِت)
- three times as the active participle qānitāt (قَٰنِتَٰت)
