Quran Dictionary - خ ف ض


The triliteral root khā fā ḍād (خ ف ض) occurs four times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • three times as the form I verb ikh'fiḍ (ٱخْفِضْ)
  • once as the active participle khāfiḍat (خَافِضَة)
