The triliteral root nūn ḥā sīn (ن ح س) occurs three times in the Quran, in three derived forms:

  • once as the noun nuḥās (نُحَاس)
  • once as the noun naḥs (نَحْس)
  • once as the adjective naḥisāt (نَّحِسَات)
