The triliteral root fā khā rā (ف خ ر) occurs six times in the Quran, in three derived forms:

  • once as the noun fakhār (فَخَّار)
  • four times as the adjective fakhūr (فَخُور)
  • once as the form VI verbal noun tafākhur (تَفَاخُر)
