Quran Dictionary - أ ز ف


The triliteral root hamza zāy fā (أ ز ف) occurs three times in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • once as the form I verb azifati (أَزِفَتِ)
  • twice as the active participle āzifat (ءَازِفَة)
