Quran Dictionary - ر و ض


The triliteral root rā wāw ḍād (ر و ض) occurs twice in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • once as the noun rawḍāt (رَوْضَات)
  • once as the noun rawḍat (رَوْضَة)

(30:15:8) rawḍatina Garden فَأَمَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَهُمْ فِي رَوْضَةٍ يُحْبَرُونَ
