The triliteral root ghayn rā fā (غ ر ف) occurs seven times in the Quran, in three derived forms:

  • once as the form VIII verb igh'tarafa (ٱغْتَرَفَ)
  • once as the noun ghurufāt (غُرُفَٰت)
  • five times as the noun ghur'fat (غُرْفَة)
