The triliteral root qāf ṣād wāw (ق ص و) occurs five times in the Quran, in three derived forms:

  • three times as the nominal aqṣā (أَقْصَا)
  • once as the adjective quṣ'wā (قُصْوَىٰ)
  • once as the adjective qaṣiyy (قَصِيّ)
