The triliteral root qāf ṣād wāw (ق ص و) occurs five times in the Quran, in three derived forms:
- three times as the nominal aqṣā (أَقْصَا)
- once as the adjective quṣ'wā (قُصْوَىٰ)
- once as the adjective qaṣiyy (قَصِيّ)
