The triliteral root kāf mīm lām (ك م ل) occurs five times in the Quran, in three derived forms:
- twice as the form IV verb akmal (أَكْمَلْ)
- once as the active participle kāmilayn (كَامِلَيْن)
- twice as the active participle kāmilat (كَامِلَة)
