The triliteral root rā ḥā bā (ر ح ب) occurs four times in the Quran, in two derived forms:
- twice as the form I verb raḥubat (رَحُبَتْ)
- twice as the noun marḥab (مَرْحَب)

(9:25:20) raḥubat | (in spite) of its vastness | وَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْأَرْضُ بِمَا رَحُبَتْ ثُمَّ وَلَّيْتُمْ مُدْبِرِينَ |
