Chapter (25) sūrat l-fur'qān (The Criterion)

Sahih International: And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.

Pickthall: And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity.

Yusuf Ali: Those who witness no falsehood, and, if they pass by futility, they pass by it with honourable (avoidance);

Shakir: And they who do not bear witness to what is false, and when they pass by what is vain, they pass by nobly.

Muhammad Sarwar: those who do not testify falsely and when they come across something impious, pass it by nobly,

Mohsin Khan: And those who do not witness falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity.

Arberry: And those who bear not false witness and, when they pass by idle talk, pass by with dignity;
