Chapter (23) sūrat l-mu'minūn (The Believers)

Sahih International: Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe.

Pickthall: Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege.

Yusuf Ali: Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say.

Shakir: Repel evil by what is best; We know best what they describe.

Muhammad Sarwar: Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God.

Mohsin Khan: Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best-Acquainted with the things they utter.

Arberry: Repel thou the evil with that which is fairer. We Ourselves know very well that they describe.
