Chapter (21) sūrat l-anbiyāa (The Prophets)

Sahih International: So We responded to him and saved him from the distress. And thus do We save the believers.

Pickthall: Then we heard his prayer and saved him from the anguish. Thus we save believers.

Yusuf Ali: So We listened to him: and delivered him from distress: and thus do We deliver those who have faith.

Shakir: So We responded to him and delivered him from the grief and thus do We deliver the believers.

Muhammad Sarwar: We answered his prayer and saved him from his grief. Thus We save the faithful ones.

Mohsin Khan: So We answered his call, and delivered him from the distress. And thus We do deliver the believers (who believe in the Oneness of Allah, abstain from evil and work righteousness).

Arberry: So We answered him, and delivered him out of grief; even so do, We deliver the believers.
