Sahih International: Thus do We insert denial into the hearts of the criminals.

Pickthall: Thus do We make it traverse the hearts of the guilty:

Yusuf Ali: Even so do we let it creep into the hearts of the sinners -

Shakir: Thus do We make it to enter into the hearts of the guilty;

Muhammad Sarwar: This is how We cause the hearts of the guilty ones to behave.

Mohsin Khan: Thus do We let it (polytheism and disbelief) enter into the hearts of the Mujrimun [criminals, polytheists, pagans, etc. (because of their mockery at the Messengers)].

Arberry: even so We cause it to enter into the hearts of the sinners --
