Verse (6:45), Word 1 - Quranic Grammar

The first word of verse (6:45) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and verb. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The passive perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is qāf ṭā ʿayn (ق ط ع).
