Chapter (74) sūrat l-mudathir (The One Enveloped)

Sahih International: I will cover him with arduous torment.

Pickthall: On him I shall impose a fearful doom.

Yusuf Ali: Soon will I visit him with a mount of calamities!

Shakir: I will make a distressing punishment overtake him.

Muhammad Sarwar: We shall make him suffer the torment of hell without relief.

Mohsin Khan: I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As­Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment!

Arberry: and I shall constrain him to a hard ascent.
