Chapter (40) sūrat ghāfir (The Forgiver God)

Sahih International: It is Allah who made for you the grazing animals upon which you ride, and some of them you eat.

Pickthall: Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of some -

Yusuf Ali: It is Allah Who made cattle for you, that ye may use some for riding and some for food;

Shakir: Allah is He Who made the cattle for you that you may ride on some of them, and some of them you eat.

Muhammad Sarwar: It is God Who has created cattle for you to ride and to consume as food.

Mohsin Khan: Allah, it is He Who has made cattle for you, that you may ride on some of them and of some you eat.

Arberry: It is God who appointed for you the cattle, some of them to ride and of some you eat;
