Chapter (38) sūrat ṣād

Sahih International: We have not heard of this in the latest religion. This is not but a fabrication.

Pickthall: We have not heard of this in later religion. This is naught but an invention.

Yusuf Ali: "We never heard (the like) of this among the people of these latter days: this is nothing but a made-up tale!"

Shakir: We never heard of this in the former faith; this is nothing but a forgery:

Muhammad Sarwar: We have heard nothing like this in the latest religion. This is only his own false invention.

Mohsin Khan: "We have not heard (the like) of this among the people of these later days. This is nothing but an invention!

Arberry: We have not heard of this in the last religion; this is surely an invention.
