Sahih International: That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'"

Pickthall: Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book?

Yusuf Ali: "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'"

Shakir: What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then be certainly brought to judgment?

Muhammad Sarwar: Shall we be recompensed for our deeds after we die and become bones and dust?

Mohsin Khan: "(That) when we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed (be raised up) to receive reward or punishment (according to our deeds)?"

Arberry: What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?"
