Verse (40:17), Word 2 - Quranic Grammar


The second word of verse (40:17) is a passive imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person feminine singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is jīm zāy yā (ج ز ي).
