Verse (38:82), Word 3 - Quranic Grammar


The third word of verse (38:82) is divided into 4 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix, verb, emphatic suffix and object pronoun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis.
