Verse (11:13), Word 5 - Quranic Grammar

The fifth word of verse (11:13) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is hamza tā yā (أ ت ي). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
