Chapter (90) sūrat l-balad (The City)

Sahih International: He says, "I have spent wealth in abundance."

Pickthall: And he saith: I have destroyed vast wealth:

Yusuf Ali: He may say (boastfully); Wealth have I squandered in abundance!

Shakir: He shall say: I have wasted much wealth.

Muhammad Sarwar: (He boasts and shows off) saying, "I have spent a great deal of money (for the cause of God)".

Mohsin Khan: He says (boastfully): "I have wasted wealth in abundance!"

Arberry: saying, 'I have consumed wealth abundant'?
