Sahih International: I wish my death had been the decisive one.

Pickthall: Oh, would that it had been death!

Yusuf Ali: "Ah! Would that (Death) had made an end of me!

Shakir: O would that it had made an end (of me):

Muhammad Sarwar: Would that death had taken us away for good.

Mohsin Khan: "I wish, would that it had been my end (death)!

Arberry: Would it had been the end!
