Chapter (69) sūrat l-ḥāqah (The Inevitable)

Sahih International: Indeed, I was certain that I would be meeting my account."

Pickthall: Surely I knew that I should have to meet my reckoning.

Yusuf Ali: "I did really understand that my Account would (One Day) reach me!"

Shakir: Surely I knew that I shall meet my account.

Muhammad Sarwar: I was sure that the record of my deeds would be shown to me".

Mohsin Khan: "Surely, I did believe that I shall meet my Account!"

Arberry: Certainly I thought that I should encounter my reckoning.'
