Chapter (69) sūrat l-ḥāqah (The Inevitable)

Sahih International: And the angels are at its edges. And there will bear the Throne of your Lord above them, that Day, eight [of them].

Pickthall: And the angels will be on the sides thereof, and eight will uphold the Throne of thy Lord that day, above them.

Yusuf Ali: And the angels will be on its sides, and eight will, that Day, bear the Throne of thy Lord above them.

Shakir: And the angels shall be on the sides thereof; and above ) I them eight shall bear on that day your Lord's power.

Muhammad Sarwar: and will turn frail, losing all force. The angels will be around the heavens and on that day eight of them will carry the Throne of your Lord above all the creatures.

Mohsin Khan: And the angels will be on its sides, and eight angels will, that Day, bear the Throne of your Lord above them.

Arberry: and the angels shall stand upon its borders, and upon that day eight shall carry above them the Throne of thy Lord.
