Chapter (26) sūrat l-shuʿarā (The Poets)

Sahih International: And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing."

Pickthall: And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do.

Yusuf Ali: Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!"

Shakir: But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do.

Muhammad Sarwar: If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds".

Mohsin Khan: Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do."

Arberry: then, if they disobey thee, say, 'I am quit of that you do.'
