Sahih International: Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."

Pickthall: Lo! it is wretched as abode and station;

Yusuf Ali: "Evil indeed is it as an abode, and as a place to rest in";

Shakir: Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay.

Muhammad Sarwar: It is a terrible abode and an evil station,"

Mohsin Khan: Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to dwell.
