Chapter (23) sūrat l-mu'minūn (The Believers)

Sahih International: Say, "In whose hand is the realm of all things - and He protects while none can protect against Him - if you should know?"

Pickthall: Say: In Whose hand is the dominion over all things and He protecteth, while against Him there is no protection, if ye have knowledge?

Yusuf Ali: Say: "Who is it in whose hands is the governance of all things,- who protects (all), but is not protected (of any)? (say) if ye know."

Shakir: Say: Who is it in Whose hand is the kingdom of all things and Who gives succor, but against Him Succor is not given, if you do but know?

Muhammad Sarwar: Ask them, "If you have any knowledge, in whose hands is the ownership of all things? Who is the one who gives protection and yet He Himself is never protected?"

Mohsin Khan: Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145]

Arberry: Say: 'In whose hand is the dominion of everything, protecting and Himself unprotected, if you have knowledge?'
