Chapter (23) sūrat l-mu'minūn (The Believers)

Sahih International: And they who turn away from ill speech

Pickthall: And who shun vain conversation,

Yusuf Ali: Who avoid vain talk;

Shakir: And who keep aloof from what is vain,

Muhammad Sarwar: who avoid impious talks,

Mohsin Khan: And those who turn away from Al-Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk, falsehood, and all that Allah has forbidden).

Arberry: and from idle talk turn away
