Chapter (21) sūrat l-anbiyāa (The Prophets)

Sahih International: And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great flood.

Pickthall: And Noah, when he cried of old, We heard his prayer and saved him and his household from the great affliction.

Yusuf Ali: (Remember) Noah, when he cried (to Us) aforetime: We listened to his (prayer) and delivered him and his family from great distress.

Shakir: And Nuh, when he cried aforetime, so We answered him, and delivered him and his followers from the great calamity.

Muhammad Sarwar: We answered the prayer of Noah who had prayed to Us before and saved him and his followers from the great disaster.
