Chapter (20) sūrat ṭā hā

Sahih International: [Allah] said, "But indeed, We have tried your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has led them astray."

Pickthall: He said: Lo! We have tried thy folk in thine absence, and As-Samiri hath misled them.

Yusuf Ali: (Allah) said: "We have tested thy people in thy absence: the Samiri has led them astray."

Shakir: He said: So surely We have tried your people after you, and the Samiri has led them astray.

Muhammad Sarwar: The Lord said, "We tested your people after you left them and the Samiri made them go astray."

Mohsin Khan: (Allah) said: "Verily! We have tried your people in your absence, and As-Samiri has led them astray."

Arberry: Said He, 'We have tempted thy people since thou didst leave them. The Samaritan has misled them into error.'
