Chapter (26) sūrat l-shuʿarā (The Poets)

Sahih International: And then there came to them that which they were promised?

Pickthall: And then cometh that which they were promised,

Yusuf Ali: Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised!

Shakir: Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened,

Muhammad Sarwar: and then Our torment will strike them,

Mohsin Khan: And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised!

Arberry: then there comes on them that they were promised,
