Chapter (26) sūrat l-shuʿarā (The Poets)

Sahih International: And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not.

Pickthall: So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not.

Yusuf Ali: But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not;

Shakir: And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive;

Muhammad Sarwar: The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge.

Mohsin Khan: It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not;

Arberry: so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware,
