Chapter (26) sūrat l-shuʿarā (The Poets)

Sahih International: And they will say, "May we be reprieved?"

Pickthall: Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved?

Yusuf Ali: Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?"

Shakir: Then they will say: Shall we be respited?

Muhammad Sarwar: They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?"

Mohsin Khan: Then they will say: "Can we be respited?"

Arberry: and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?'
