The triliteral root tā bā rā (ت ب ر) occurs six times in the Quran, in four derived forms:

  • twice as the form II verb tabbar (تَبَّرْ)
  • once as the noun tabār (تَبَار)
  • twice as the form II verbal noun tatbīr (تَتْبِير)
  • once as the form II passive participle mutabbar (مُتَبَّر)
