Verse (16:64), Word 11 - Quranic Grammar


The eleventh word of verse (16:64) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The indefinite noun is masculine and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The noun's triliteral root is hā dāl yā (ه د ي).

(16:64:11) هُدًى . Should this also not be اسم منصوب like رَحْمَةً

I am sorry to say that the problems is that the errors are never corrected in Corpus Quran website.

I asked the هُدًى question to some one else and see the comment below.
