Chapter (79) sūrat l-nāziʿāt (Those who Pull Out)

Sahih International: But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,

Pickthall: But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust,

Yusuf Ali: And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires,

Shakir: And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires,

Muhammad Sarwar: However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires.

Mohsin Khan: But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts.
