Sahih International: Does man think that he will be left neglected?

Pickthall: Thinketh man that he is to be left aimless?

Yusuf Ali: Does man think that he will be left uncontrolled, (without purpose)?

Shakir: Does man think that he is to be left to wander without an aim?

Muhammad Sarwar: For you, the human being of such behavior, will certainly deserve it.

Mohsin Khan: Does man think that he will be left Suda [neglected without being punished or rewarded for the obligatory duties enjoined by his Lord (Allah) on him]?

Arberry: What, does man reckon he shall be left to roam at will?
