Chapter (70) sūrat l-maʿārij (The Ways of Ascent)

Sahih International: Indeed, they see it [as] distant,

Pickthall: Lo! they behold it afar off

Yusuf Ali: They see the (Day) indeed as a far-off (event):

Shakir: Surely they think it to be far off,

Muhammad Sarwar: They think that it (the Day of Judgment) is far away.

Mohsin Khan: Verily! They see it (the torment) afar off,

Arberry: behold, they see it as if far off;
