Sahih International: And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings,

Pickthall: And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us,

Yusuf Ali: And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name,

Shakir: And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings,
