Chapter (43) sūrat l-zukh'ruf (The Gold Adornment)

Sahih International: And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, " Allah." So how are they deluded?

Pickthall: And if thou ask them who created them, they will surely say: Allah. How then are they turned away?

Yusuf Ali: If thou ask them, who created them, they will certainly say, Allah: How then are they deluded away (from the Truth)?

Shakir: And if you should ask them who created them, they would certainly say: Allah. Whence are they then turned back?

Muhammad Sarwar: (Muhammad), if you ask them, "Who had created the idols?" They will certainly say, "God has created them." Why do you then turn away from God?

Mohsin Khan: And if you ask them who created them, they will surely say: "Allah". How then are they turned away (from the worship of Allah, Who created them)?

Arberry: If thou askest them, 'Who created you?' they will say, 'God.' How then are they perverted?
