Sahih International: We would have been the chosen servants of Allah."

Pickthall: We would be single-minded slaves of Allah.

Yusuf Ali: "We should certainly have been Servants of Allah, sincere (and devoted)!"

Shakir: We would certainly have been the servants of Allah-- the purified ones.

Muhammad Sarwar: we would have certainly been sincere servants of God".

Mohsin Khan: "We would have indeed been the chosen slaves of Allah (true believers of Islamic Monotheism)!"

Arberry: then were we God's sincere servants.'
