Chapter (23) sūrat l-mu'minūn (The Believers)

Sahih International: He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known.

Pickthall: He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew.

Yusuf Ali: He will say: "Ye stayed not but a little,- if ye had only known!

Shakir: He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it):

Muhammad Sarwar: God will say, "You have indeed remained there for a short time. Would that you knew it during your life time.

Mohsin Khan: He (Allah) will say: "You stayed not but a little, if you had only known!

Arberry: He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know.
