Chapter (15) sūrat l-ḥij'r (The Rocky Tract)

Sahih International: And We will remove whatever is in their breasts of resentment, [so they will be] brothers, on thrones facing each other.

Pickthall: And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised.

Yusuf Ali: And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity).

Shakir: And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face.

Muhammad Sarwar: We shall remove all hatred from their breasts and make them as brothers reclining on thrones facing one another.

Mohsin Khan: "And We shall remove from their breasts any sense of injury (that they may have), (So they will be like) brothers facing each other on thrones.

Arberry: We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face;
