جملة «فجاءته» مستأنفة، وجملة «تمشي» حال من فاعل «جاءته»، الجار «على استحياء» متعلق بحال من فاعل «تمشي»، «ما» في «ما سقيت» مصدرية، والمصدر المؤول مضاف إليه أي: أجْرَ سَقْيِك، وجملة «فلما جاءه» مستأنفة، و«القصص» مفعول به، جملة «نجوت» مستأنفة في حيز القول.
