قوله «والأرض» الواو عاطفة، و«الأرض» مفعول به لفعل محذوف تقديره: مددنا، وجملة «مددنا» المقدرة معطوفة على جملة «جَعَلْنَا» في الآية (16)، وجملة «مددناها» تفسيرية، وجملة «وألقينا» معطوفة على «مددنا» المقدرة. والجار «من كل» متعلق بنعت مقدر أي: أنواعا كائنة من كل شيء.
