جملة «أَمَرهم» مضاف إليه، «لما» حرف وجوب لوجوب، وجملة «ما كان» جواب شرط غير جازم، الجار «من الله» متعلق بحال من «شيء»، «شيء» نائب مفعول مطلق، و«من» زائدة، «حاجة» مستثنى منقطع، وجملة «قضاها» نعت لـ«حاجة»، واسم كان ضمير «هو» يعود على دخولهم، والجار «لما علمناه» متعلق بنعت لـ«علم»، وجملة «ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون» معطوفة على جملة «إنه لذو علم».
