Quran Dictionary - ع ب ث

The triliteral root ʿayn bā thā (ع ب ث) occurs twice in the Quran, in two derived forms:

  • once as the form I verb taʿbathu (تَعْبَثُ)
  • once as the noun ʿabath (عَبَث)
