Verse (82:4), Word 3 - Quranic Grammar


The third word of verse (82:4) is a passive perfect verb (فعل ماض). The verb is third person feminine singular. The verb's quadriliteral root is bā ʿayn thā rā (ب ع ث ر).

Chapter (82) sūrat l-infiṭār (The Cleaving)

are overturned,
V – 3rd person feminine singular passive perfect verb فعل ماض مبني للمجهول
